There is a situation that deserves mercy from Demirel and CHP is not aware of it…

The saying “Yesterday is yesterday, today is today”, which was brought to our literature by  Süleyman Demirel, one of the indispensable parts of our political life   , continues to exist today, with its value increasing even more.

We learned the agility of the MHP in this area by experiencing it on the subject of the ‘presidential system’, which they had been strongly opposed to for a long time  . They were able to say to Tayyip Erdoğan ,  whom they did not like at all because of his demand for a change of system and expressed this in the harshest words from their leader  ,  “Let’s change the system together  .

The same MHP is before us again with a similar agility.

An unexpected rapprochement with DEM, which they had recently demanded to be shut down and to have the salaries of its deputies cut, was only possible from the MHP.

The AK Party and President Erdoğan immediately   joined the chorus of change initiated by the MHP.

DEM party members are surprised, but they also immediately recover and   expect that the path to ‘negotiation’ will be opened to them again.

The word “normalization”, which was used by  CHP’s new chairman  Özgür Özel after the local elections  , is now also on the lips of AKP spokespeople.

However, for a while, the same spokespeople opposed what was expressed with that word…

Even Süleyman Demirel  may not have thought that his famous sentence would become so tangible after him.

The ‘resolution process’ attempted in the past  was cut short before it could be concluded, due to the unprecedentedly violent opposition of the MHP, among many other reasons.

It’s as if the MHP is putting the first mortar into a new  ‘resolution process’ …

The idea that ‘ If the issue is to be resolved, this can only be achieved through the MHP’ is widely accepted.

Even though it seems impossible to me, looking at the rising expectations from DEM,  I can’t help but say , “I wonder?”

Let’s hope for the best… Let’s see what will come out of this development.

If you are aware, there is a political actor whose name is never mentioned in this most important debate of our time, which could change all political balances if it reaches a conclusion:  CHP

CHP is busy enjoying being the first party in the March 31 elections.

It has a leader who is sure that the first place it won in the local elections will continue forever…

Özgür Özel sees that the economic difficulties have reached dimensions that will make one miss even the pre-AKP government and is looking forward to the general election  …

When the masses, who are exposed to extreme hardships, go to the polls, they will not vote for the AK Party, which is responsible for this situation, right?

The traditional mass of the CHP – 20-25% –  will go to the ballot box one by one and vote for their party, as Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu puts it; the masses that have distanced themselves from the AK Party due to economic difficulties will also join them…

CHP dreams of gaining power with their votes.

This is a nice dream.

At the beginning of my article, at the risk of being long, I had demonstrated how the MHP and the AK Party were able to change their stance during the most difficult times of the country, with an agility that was never expected from them.

The cooperation that helped keep the AKP in power and  Tayyip Erdoğan in the presidency for two more terms, and in return gave the MHP  the appearance of being in “real power” in a partnership for which it bore no responsibility  , is taking on a new nature in this period.

As a result of a search that will help extend the life of the dual power once more…

Otherwise,  why would Devlet Bahçeli  shake hands with DEM members for no reason?

Why would the AKP, which ended the first resolution process without even explaining the reason, display an attitude that would give the impression that it was pursuing a similar process?

Whatever the ruling party is doing these days are all initiatives aimed at the upcoming general election…

Doesn’t the CHP see that there are developments that were previously seen only before the elections?

The other day,  Tayyip Erdoğan , in his capacity as the chairman of the AK Party, pinned his party’s badge on many mayors elected from other parties.

To the elected presidents from Yeniden Refah and İYİ Party…

The next move is likely to be a ceremony where MPs from other parties are badged.

In order to reflect the feeling of ‘ the party that will win ‘  to the masses…

What about the economy?

Mehmet Şimşek  has given up on reducing inflation and is working to ensure that money is accumulated that can be distributed as a favor to those with low salaries.

Although President Erdoğan said  with certainty last week  that “the election will be held on time,”  I can smell the feeling that we may be going to the polls in the very near future.

I guess the CHP members have their noses covered too…
